Danzn Starz Kennels - Schipperkes and Collies

I am hoping you will learn all about me: my interests and hobbies, my pets, and more.

You will be able to follow along as the dogs compete and/or play and learn of thier accomplishments. I hope to have a page for each of them.

I have the dogs, 1st and formost as companions. They are my "kids" so to speak now, they live in the house with me.

I like to show them and do any kind of work with them. I want to make sure they are healthy to be able to accomplish any goals we may have as a team.

The kids had an exciting year in 2011..

Yukon managed to not only get his CH. he also got a (BN) beginner novice title AND a CD title, along with Rally novice plus 2 legs towards his rally advanced!., He was a busy boy for sure!!

Dancer managed to get her rally advanced AND excellent!

Kahlan managed to get her CH.

Bubbles got her Grand CH. the same weekend in Kenai.

I am very pleased with the accomplishments of the dogs this summer!

2012

Yukon finished his Advanced rally and got his Excellent rally as well.

then Dancer went on to get her advanced novice drafting title and the brace of her and Yukon also got their advanced novice brace title

We managed to get 2 of Miss's litter to their CH, thanks to their owners and handlers .. so Kodi and Sebrika are now CH. ..Charm picked up some more points and Fenix started her show career as well as Seeker starting his.

I will let you know when I put something new up.

Summer 2016

we went to the nationals in Portland Ore. in April, Bubbles getting 1st in both the specialty and Nationals in the 12+ age group sweeps, 4th in the 8+ age conformation and 1st in the 12+ conformation at the nationals.

Jade got 2nd in both shows 12-15 month class sweeps, 4th in futurity

Scarlet got 1st and Emmy 2nd in maturity 2-4 year old

Kahlan got 1st in the 4-6 year maturity

Destiny took Best Junior at the nationals with Bubbles

onto Alaska for 11 AKC shows and 6 Canadian shows

finishing 2 CH - Scarlet and Seeker in AKC, Kahlan got a group 3 in Anchorage, Scarlet taking breed in Kenai and BOS in Palmer 2 shows,

Jade started her show career managing to get 12 points with 3 majors and taking a BOS along the way surprising me and beating the CH.

Bubbles got a non-sporting veteran group 1 in FBX

1 CH in Canada - Kahlan - 5 breed wins with one 1st place group, two 2nd place and two 3rd place groups

Scarlet took breed one shows and got one 3rd place group as well finishing the shows with 8 points

Bubbles was in 3 veteran shows in Canada, taking the non-sporting group each time and getting Best Veteran in Show one of the shows

Fenix started something new with SDA getting her FO (family Obedience)

then back in Arkansas, Jade again surprised me with a breed win over Bubbles!

the kids did really well this summer and we had a ton of fun (at least I think so)

very proud of all of them!

went to Hotsprings and Jade got her CH, Kahlan got her Bronze Grand CH as well as a 2nd group placement in owner handler

Benton only took Kahlan and Bubbles... Bubbs got a group 3 in owner handler on sunday

2013 brought more accomplishments in the 1st half of the year

Yukon got his Excellent rally title and 2 legs towards his RAE, 8 more to go.

Dancer got 2 legs towards her BN, so we wait for the next trial to finish her

Kiwi got his CH.!!

Charm managed to get her other major!

Kahlan is just picking up points towards her grand ch.

2014 Yukon got his RAE in March!

2014 - shows in Canada and Alaska

we went to 6 shows in Whitehorse Canada..

Kahlan took 4 BOB for 6 points .

and Yukon took 2 BOB for 4 points..

the babies Emmy and Scarlet went to their 1st shows as they are just 6 months old, had a ball going around the ring.

Sammie showed Kahlan in juniors and they took Best junior!

Bubbles took Best Veteran in one of the 2 shows entered

On to Alaska and 8 shows there..we saw:

Emerald getting her CH with 5 majors

Kahlan getting her Grand CH.

Scarlet taking group 1 in the non-sporting puppy extravaganza getting a huge bed and a case of dogfood in her 1st show, grabbed one major in Kenai AND the last show taking BOB going on to take a group 4!. she now has both her majors - 8 pts.

Charm got closer to her CH. now only needs 2 points

Seeker picked up a major.

Bubbles took 3rd runner up in 10+ veteran in Kenai

I put Yukon in a lure coursing and he Q'd

Destiny ran agility with Bubbles and Yukon..

Bubbles got her Prefered Jumpers title and 1 leg on Std.

Yukon got 2 legs on his jumpers.

Bubbles ended the season in AK with taking best veteran in the sweeps, so she netted me 2 bags of dog food (the kind I use) and a case of dogfood

my dogs and I had a blast and all got to do something during the summer!

we came home and went to a UKC show the next day for Yukon, he got his CD thru UKC that weekend

a couple weeks later, Charm, Fenix and Kahlan went to Hot Springs .. Fenix and Charm got a point a piece and Kahlan took breed both days.. we are on the hunt for one more point for Charm

couple weeks later took the girls to Benton and Charm finished her CH! and Fenix picked up another point.. Bubbles went on to BOS and took group 1 in the owner handler series! proud of my kids!
